Live Facial Recognition - Adversarial Tactics

Live Facial Recognition is being rolled out in London. As a group of technically minded people, an interesting research project may be to provide a set of practical tips for confusing and/or evading facial recognition tech.

I already know there are a number of adversarial facial recognition fashion items out there, but a lot seem to be expensive. There is also the challenge that algorithms are constantly being improved.

Curious to know what others think.

Sounds like a good flashpoint. I’ve been thinking similar recently about the (much more disparate) Ring Doorbells. What are you thinking? A resource for regular non tech people to use to push back?

Yeah precisely - easy guides for confusing algorithms backed up by research. Kinda like putting traffic cones on the bonnets of self driving cars!
